EILEEN M. BOYD Eileen M. Boyd of Toronto, age 95, mother of renowned classical guitarist Liona Boyd, Dr Vivien Boyd and Damien Boyd (Perma), died peacefully in her sleep January 13, 2021, at the Kitchener home of her daughter, Vivien. Wife of the late John H. Boyd, grandmother to Colin Boyd Shafer (Kate) and great-grandma to one year old Isabel. Eileen began her life in wartime England and came with John and their children to Toronto in 1957. She taught art, painted many fine oils, earned a degree in Spanish literature and loved to read and listen to classical music. She later played a significant role in Liona's life, assisting running her music business and traveling the world. She will be deeply missed by all. See facebook.com/lionaboyd for Liona's tribute.
