Lawrence "Lon" Littlejohn, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2019 in Heber Springs, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born on September 16, 1936 in Joliet, Illinois to the late Lawrence and Helen Littlejohn of Joliet, Illinois.

He was a graduate of Joliet Township High School in 1955 and served in the Army for 2 years after graduating. While living in Joliet, Illinois he was employed and retired from Amoco Chemical in 1990. He was an accomplished trombone player and won numerous championships while performing for the Joliet Township Band and American Legion Band throughout the 1960's. He enjoyed jazz music, White Sox baseball and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Littlejohn; children, Judi (Gregory) Wermer and Mark (Barbara) Littlejohn; sisters, Patricia, Sharon and Estelle; brother, Fred; sister-in-law, Judy Robbins; grandchildren, Andrew Wermer, Joseph Littlejohn and Frank Littlejohn; great-grandchild, Blair Littlejohn; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years, Marjorie Littlejohn; sister, Sandy; brother, James; brother-in-law, Pete Robbins and best friend Kenny Hunsley.
