Christine Joyce Shibley
Christine Joyce Shibley, 83 of Norwalk, CT passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018. Christine was a longtime resident of Norwalk. Born in Norwalk, she was the daughter of Konstantinos Karnel and Reida Poulos Karnel Brown. She graduated from Norwalk High School.
Chris was employed for many years at Firing Circuits and Pepperidge Farm in Norwalk. She also worked at City Hall in Parks and Rec and the Town Clerks office. She had a longtime passion for golf. When not playing, you could often find her behind the counter working at Oak Hills Park, GC in Norwalk where in 2010 she celebrated a hole-in-one.
Christine is survived by her two daughters, Joyce Ann Generoso (husband Frank) and Kathleen Snellman (husband John); four grandchildren, Melissa Generoso, Nicole Generoso, John Snellman, Jr. and Mark Snellman; a sister, Elizabeth Stefan; two nieces, Lori Torrano and Marcia Kendall, and a nephew Christopher William Stefan.
Cremation will be arranged and a memorial service to be announced.

To Christine's Family. I am so sorry to hear of Chris's passing. She worked for me in the Norwalk Town Clerk's Office in 2000 and 2001. I also knew her as a friend these many years since then.I will remember her always. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
