James R. Sanders, Jr.
James R. Sanders, Jr., 81, of Norwalk, died on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at St. Vincent's Med. Center, Bridgeport. Born in Norwalk, the son of the late James Sr., and Clara (Northrup) Sanders, he was the loving husband of Muriel (Parr) Sanders for 58 years. He had served in the US Navy and had retired from Nash Engineering. A wood craftsman and welder, he enjoyed camping and travelling and working on projects in his free time.
In addition to his wife Muriel, he is survived by their children; Jean Sanders, James III "Jimmy" Sanders and his wife Juanita, and Brian Sanders as well as five grandchildren, James R. Sanders IV, Stephanie Sanders, David Jensen, Kaitlyn Jensen and Levi Jensen.
Graveside Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17th, at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
