David Jaeger Obituary
Norwalk Resident
David L. Jaeger, Sr. age 66, of Norwalk, died June 20, 2013 in West Haven at the Veteran's Hospital. Mr. Jaeger was born in New York City on August 2, 1946 and was a son to the late Thomas and Jane Van Stone Jaeger. He was a proud Veteran of the Vietnam War and had served in the United States Army. Throughout his life, he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf.
Survivors include his loving son David L. Jaeger, Jr. and his wife Allyson of Norwalk; a cherished granddaughter Haylee; a sister Phoebeann Previti of Berlin, CT and his former wife Kathy Jaeger of Norwalk. He was predeceased by a brother Thomas Jaeger.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday June 29, 2013 from 10:30 am until 12:00 noon in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. I send my thoughts and prayers. Dave Jaeger was a major part of my life and I hold the happiest and most wonderful memories of all the times we shared. We had the best of times in high school, working at the Bay Head Hotel and the John Stanley soap factory and serving in the Army together in Vietnam Nam. He was the best friend anyone could have ever had. So many laughs and happy memories. I will miss him. He was so proud of his son and granddaughter. I will be thinking of all of you on Saturday.
