Mildred 'Millie' McIntire, 96
DENVER, Colo. - Mildred "Millie" McIntire, 96, of Denver, Colo., died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021 at Brookdale Parkplace in Denver.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27 at the Bureau Cemetery by Pierce Chapel near Clarks. A luncheon will follow the graveside service at Solt-Wagner Community Room in Central City.
Memorials are suggested to the Bureau Cemetery by Pierce Chapel and condolences can be sent to the family at www.soltwagnerfuneral.com.
Millie was born on Jan. 5, 1925, to Dorsie and Ada (Spires) Church in Polk County. She grew up in the Clarks area attending and graduating from Clarks High School. She then attended Nebraska Central Teacher's College.
She was united in marriage to Leonard L. McIntire on Dec. 23, 1946, in Kansas. The couple returned to Central City for a short time before moving to Grand Island. In 1961, they moved to Kearney.
Millie was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Kearney.
She is survived by a son, Lee (Susan) McIntire of Denver, Colo; grandson, Benjamin (Tutti) McIntire; great-grandson, Sture McIntire.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard McIntire; son, Judson McIntire; brother- Burdette Church.

Lee, i just happened to see your Mom´s obituary. I live in Kimball, NE now but we lived by your folks in Kearney on F Ave.
They were so proud of you boys.
