Mrs. Elaine was the kindest person I knew. I will alaways will remember her. When we was in class we would always know when she was coming,as her keys jingled and her high heel shoes stomped while she walked up the hallway. She will always be the best principal we ever had.

Ms.Elaine Hewitt was the sweetest lady I know. She helped me more than what some people may know. When I was in High School I liked a 1/2 credit to grad. with my class. She told me about a course that I could take through mail to get my credit and she worked with me to make sure that I got it.I will always remember her for going above to do that for me.My son was at EES last year and he has learning problem and she really helped him also.My thoughts and prayers are with Ms.Elaine's family.

A fun, smart, wonderful lady. Enjoyed working and traveling with Elaine when she was a SPED Supervisor. We often talked about our children and what was happening in their lives. She loved her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jessica and Elizabeth, your mother was my colleague and friend. We shared a love of farm life, family, and children. She was such a beautiful lady and had such a positive impact on the lives she touched. May you be blessed with warm memories and the promise of reunion.

I have so many happy memories of Elaine, from teaching together at Houston Co High School, to traveling to New York with a bunch of kids. I will never forget her strength, her dedication to teaching and students, or her love of family and life. While years and miles had separated us, the bond of friendship remained. My heart is broken and I ache for her girls and family, and for us all who have lost a great friend.

Ms. Elaine was an amazing woman, dedicated to her life's work with people of all ages and in different places in life. She was very special to my dad and her legacy will never pass away, but live on in hearts near and far forever. I never visited with her a single time that she did not mention in some way how proud she was of her family.
