CSM (Ret) William Wall
CSM (Retired) William Thomas Wall, age 81 of Clarksville, TN, died on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
CSM (Ret) Wall was born in Clarksville, TN on June 11, 1932 to Arthur Wall and Gladys W. Nicholson. Survived by his sister, Betty W. (Dan) Stevens, Williston, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 59 years, Waltraud M. Wall.
CSM (Ret) was retired from the US Army and was a Vietnam war veteran. After his retirement from the military, he worked for Ed Groves Cadillac and James Corlew Chevrolet.
He is survived by his son, W. Thomas Wall, Jr. (Anne) of Brentwood, TN; his daughters, Wanda (Brent) Baughn of Harker Heights, TX, Melissa (Bud) Stump of Clarksville, TN and Pamela (Norman) Self of Mt. Juliet, TN, and by his grandchildren, Erik Baughn, Michael Baughn, Ellen Wall, Cody Self, Matthew Wall, Jacob Self and great-granddaughter, Sasha Baughn.
He was a long time member of the First Christian Church in Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Michael Baughn, Cody Self, Matthew Wall, Jacob Self, Bud Stump and Frank P. Miller, with Erik Baughn as Honorary Pallbearer.
The funeral will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kyle Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Full Military Honors will be rendered. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Christian Church, 516 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040 or to the charity of ones choice.
