Woodlawn - Gilbert H. Norfleet Jr, 59, entered this life on September 5, 1961, and went to be with Jesus, January 20, 2021.

Survivors include his "Mom", Nancy Norfleet, and others. He was 100% Christian; (Church of Christ) and Baptized into Christ on July 16, 1978.

"Mr. Gilbert H. Norfleet Jr, Master Knife Maker was the recipient of the US Flag flown September 11, 2014, during Operation Enduring Freedom. This flag represents America's resolve to protect those who cannot protect themselves, to deter and defeat all who attempt to bring us harm." His life was compared to Job, Paul, and Jesus.

His favorite Bible verses include Psalm 23, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, and Revelation 21:4-7.

Some of his favorite songs included, Peace Like A River, In The Sweet By & By, O Happy Day, What A Friend We Have In Jesus, Oh Think of the Home Over There, When They Ring Those Golden Bells For Me, and Victory in Jesus.

Gilbert i'm going to miss chatting with you. We've been friends since the 4th grade at Woodlawn and i was hoping to get to visit you next time i came in town. Walk among the angels my friends and one day we will get to visit again.
