William Clark Obituary
William T. Clark, age 84 of Fort Dodge, formerly of Clarksville, TN, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at his home.
A burial service will be held at 1 p.m. on November 5, 2011 at Riverview Cemetery, Clarksville, TN.
Billy is survived by his grandchildren, T.C and Amber Clark, Teresa and Jeff Arena, all of Clarksville, TN; 2 great-grandchildren; nephews, Russ and Colette Clark, Conrad Clark and Marlene Hamilton, all of Fort Dodge, and Dennis Clark of Lynnwood, WA; niece, Patty Russell of St. Louis, MO; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and very loyal friends, Randy Patterson, Becky Rentz and Lori Grady.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Florence (Weston) Clark; wife, Muriel and brothers, Al and Weston.
William T. Clark was born September 19, 1927 in Marcus, IA. He served with the United States Army in the South Pacific during WWII. He worked as a tug-boat Captain and Engineer for many years until his retirement. He was united in marriage to Muriel Gibson in Clarksville, TN where the couple established their home. Billy moved to Fort Dodge in 2007.
