Mama Jennie, as she was called, I knew her as the pretty sweet lady who always made me feel welcome at her home. The house I visited when attending APSU with Connie Ramey. Time was so innocence then and with a beautiful spirit, she always made me feel at home. Those are the memories I will always have. My prayers and love I send to the family. God bless you all.

To Bonita and Family,

The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away- Psalms 90:10. Long life consists of mixed blessings. I'm sure during Mrs. Ramey's life, she saw and experienced much, many happy times and some not so much so. Long life gave her the opportunity to be a part of the lives of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several generations. What a blessing. The loss of parents, a spouse and children were also chapters of her life which I'm sure were painful. Now, after seeing much, living much, experiencing much, she rests in the arms of Jesus. There's no better place to be. I know you will miss her, but the memories last forever. It is my prayer that you all will find peace and comfort in knowing that God is still in control. The transitions of living and dying are all a part of The Master's plan. God called Mrs. Jennie's name and she answered, "Yes, LORD, here I am."
With sincere sympathy -

Mother Jennie was an inspiration to us all.. She is such a sweet woman as well as a woman that could make you laugh when you probably weren't really feeling your best..

I love you Mother Jennie I pray for the family as well as you this day as I am just finding out..

Her heart was never shy of a loving compliment to anyone that she met..

Mother Jennie be Blessed as you have entered into those Golden Gates of GOD'S Eternal Place in HEAVEN..

To the rest of the family I am so deeply sorry that she has gone on although I believe that her time with us was well spent..

So anytime that you think of anything sad about her leaving always remember she wouldn't want you grieving..

I love yall Ramey family..
