AARON DRIGGERS Obituary
DRIGGERS, 76
LAKELAND - Aaron Driggers, 76, passed away on June 27, 2017.
Mr. Driggers was born in Apopka, FL on July 26, 1940 and remained a lifelong resident of Central Florida. He served in the Army Reserves following his graduation from Plant City High School (linebacker #54 for the Planters) and eventually retired from the Weyerhaeuser company. Mr. Driggers was an avid Florida Gator fan as well as a 50s and 60s music enthusiast. He enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, antique collecting and family gatherings. He also took great pride in supporting the Florida Lottery and casinos across the country.
Mr. Driggers is survived by his son, Stephen (daughter-in-law Jennifer) Driggers; sister, Janet Biddle; brother, Wayne Driggers; grandchildren, Morgan and Austin Driggers.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday (July 8th) at 10 am at Mt. Enon Cemetery, Plant City, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aaron's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

when I think of MR DRIGGERS I think of my youth well spent drinking whiskey and playing poker . AARON WELCOMED ME INTO HIS HOME EVERY TIME I SHOWED UP . I AM THANKFUL AND LUCKY TO HAVE KNOWN THE MAN. HE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE AND HE LOVED HIS FAMILY AND HE HIS MISSED AS SO MANY ARE

I didn't know Aaron personally, but I know his son Steve. And now that I see Aaron's picture, Steve looks so much like his dad. Aaron certainly raised a great son and I feel like I knew Aaron through the stories that Steve has shared with me. My thoughts and prayers are with Steve and the Drigger family during this time of loss. Love you Steve!

To the family of Arron,
I first met Arron in 1959 while we were working part time at Kwik Check. We became instant friends and had loads of fun together. He lived life to the fullest.
May all lean closer to the lord in this most difficult of times.
