AUBURNDALE - Bogie Andrew "Andy" Wren, 80, of Haines City died Thursday (June 2, 2011) from Heart Failure.
Mr. Wren was born 11/5/1930 in Paint Lick, KY, to Joe and Lettie Mae Kinnaird Wren. He served during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy. He was a master electrician and owned Wren's Electric. He was a member of Lankmark Baptist Church and the IBEW.
He was predeceased by his brother Bobby Wren; daughter Sheila Wren Jordan; and great grand daughter Desserie Harris.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Virginia; sons David A. (Sally) Wren and Michael J. (Nicole) Wren of Haines City; daughters Tina Emert of Albany, GA and Cindy Jo (Jon) Wilkes of Northville, MI; brothers Jackie Wren of Lakeland and Billy Joe Wren of Cascade, ID; sister Josephine Swindle of Haines City; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, June 6th, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City from 1PM to 2PM with services to follow at 2PM with Dr. Mickey Carter and Pastor Jon Wilkes officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823. condolences may be sent via:
