WINTER HAVEN - John A. Szafranski IV 54 of Winter Haven passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.
Born November 8, 1966 in San Pedro, CA, John came to the area in 1974 from Illinois. He worked in Utility Services for many years and also as a Vocational Instructor III at the Hardee County Correction Institute most recently. John was a member of Church on the Hill in Dundee and was a US Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his mother Constance Szafranski and is survived by his wife Tamara Szafranski, two children: son Garland Szafranski and daughter Cynthia Ashley (Chad), father, John Szafranski III of Crystal River, FL, two brothers Joseph C. Szafranski (Carolyn) of Alabama, Richard L. Szafranski (Jaccilee) of Georgia. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and the many lives that he touched and thought of as his inner circle as family.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 3-4pm with services at 4pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to go fund me account
