Resident of San Leandro
Joseph passed away suddenly at 100 years young. Born in Oakland CA to Fillipo and Marianna Cotroneo. He was the anchor of his family and loved for his gentle spirit and positive outlook on life.
Joseph was the oldest of three children. He was a hard working farmer in his early life in Elkhorn, CA and later a steel mill worker until retirement.
Joseph was a loving husband to his soul mate Ida V Cotroneo (deceased) for 73 years. He is survived by his loving and devoted daughters Marjorie Amantea and Barbara Breves. He was adored by his 4 Granddaughters and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Thursday October 2, 2014 from 5PM-7PM, a prayer service at 7PM and funeral services on Friday October 3, 2014 at 11AM at Holy Angels 1051 Harder Rd Hayward. Holy Angels 510-537-6600
