Catherine Bohn

Bohn, Catherine n.; age 83; of Delaware, OH; and formerly a long-time resident of Mt. Pleasant, MI; passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at The Inn at Olentangy Trail. Born in Morganfield, KY to the late Hubert and Claudie Nally, Cathy was a graduate of St. Vincent Academy in Morganfield. She married her husband, Joseph Robert “Bob” Bohn in 1954 and together they raised their family in Kentucky, Illinois and Michigan. A devout Catholic, Cathy and her family were parishioners of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Leon Nally. Cathy is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 61 years, Bob Bohn, of Delaware; her sons and daughters-in-law, Paul William and Raylene Bohn of Grainger, IN and Gregg and Mary Schafer Bohn, of Delaware; her grandchildren: Nathan Robert Bohn, of Wheeling, IL; Lauren Bohn Gibson (Larry), of Arlington, MA; Christine Elyse Vidlund (David), of Ft. Myers, FL; and Matthew Joseph Bohn, of Ft. Myers; her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Ann Christ, of Arkansas; and her many nieces and nephews. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at St. Joan Of Arc Catholic Church, 10700 Liberty Road, Powell, OH 43065 where family will welcome friends before the Mass beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend Michael Gentry will celebrate the Mass. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a future date (time and date to be announced) at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Morganfield, KY with urn burial following at St. Ann Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider memorial contributions to their local parish St. Vincent DePaul Society, in Cathy’s memory.
