Ruth Louise (Coville) Hulliberger Obituary
Hulliberger (Coville), Ruth Louise Age 96, of Six Lakes, MI, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Masonic Pathways in Alma, MI. Ruth was born on June 11, 1921 in Blanchard, the daughter of Floyd Grant and Lemma (Belknap) Coville. She was raised in Blanchard and graduated from Blanchard Public Schools Class of 1939. Ruth married Lyle Franklin Hulliberger on November 18, 1939 in the parsonage of the Wesleyan Church in Blanchard. Ruth was employed by Nu-Foods in Edmore, Hitachi in Edmore, and lastly, Ruth was an Aide and Foster Grandparent at Montabella Community Schools. Ruth enjoyed knitting, bowling, playing cards, camping, deer hunting, pontoon boating, reading, canning, mushrooming, and collecting teddy bears, but her special passion was helping children. She also loved spending time with family and friends. Ruth will be dearly missed by four children Rebecca (Frank) Cepak of Alma, Margie "Midge" (David) Gares of Blanchard, Jill (Mark) Decker of Six Lakes, and Joleen (Randy) Allen of Chillicothe, IL; grandchildren, Nikole, Chad, Matthew, Jeffery, Anthony, Jennifer, Eric, Heidi, Sukie, Joshua, Kristina, and Daniel; thirty-four great- grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; one sister Elizabeth Williams of Grand Rapids; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Lyle Hulliberger; parents Floyd and Lemma Coville; son Robert (Rebekah) Hulliberger; one granddaughter Jan; and eight siblings. Funeral services for Ruth will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore at 11 a.m. with the family accepting friends for visitation starting at 10 a.m. and on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Kristina Mares will be officiating the service. All are invited to attend a luncheon, at the Edmore VFW Post, immediately following the service.
