Yvonne Lucille Wolfgang

1936 - 2015

Wolfgang, Yvonne Lucille (Zinn); age 78; of Alma; passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Woodland Hospice, Mt. Pleasant. She was born in Alma on September 9, 1936 the daughter of Franklin Roy and Elizabeth (Thomas) Zinn. She graduated from Alma High School the Class of 1954. On April 7, 1972 she married Ronnie Wolfgang. Yvonne worked for Dr. Frank Wassenaar as a receptionist and bookkeeper for 10 years. She also worked as a bookkeeper for the Tartan House for many years and ran a Bed and Breakfast out of her home for 15 years during the 1980’s and 1990’s. Yvonne spent many hours reading her Bible and sharing her faith with others. For many years she led Bible study groups with her friend, Genevieve Davis. She was active with the First Church of God Women’s Group. She enjoyed playing piano, traveling, tending to her flowers and plants and was an avid reader. Yvonne enjoyed interior decorating, as well as, baking, cooking and entertaining friends and family at her home. Yvonne is survived by her children, John (Dawn) Musser of Mt. Pleasant, Julie (Vince) Rodriguez of Alma; step-daughters, Leslie (David) Cranford of Lubbock, TX, Ronda Wolfgang of Chatsworth, CA; six grandchildren, Amber (Brian) Carson, Jonathon Musser (Skye), Ronnie Woodard, Virginia Woodard, Lindsay and Marcus; one great grandson, Zachary Carson; four sisters, Anabel (Bruce) Harner, Betty DeVivo, Marilyn (Paul) Miller, Myrna Boyd; a brother, Jim Zinn; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronnie; three brothers, Harold, Don and Lee Zinn; one sister, Marjorie Stoneman; and two nieces. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lux -Moody - Wolfel Funeral Home of Alma, with Pastor Steve Wimmer of the First Church of God Officiating. Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Alma. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice.
