Burt, I did not know your mom well but remembered talking with her over the fence occasionally. She was always very sweet and I know you miss her a lot. It is so hard to lose a parent but your memories of her will live with you forever. Hope you are well.

Burt, I'm sorry for your loss and may the Lord lay his hands on you and give you comfort in your time of morning. I just found this and wanted to express my sympathy to you and your family Burt. Burt you may not remember me but we use to ride the bus to school you went to De La Salle and I went to L. E. Rabouin. You, Craig and I use to bum together at times.

Praying for comfort for you & your family, Burt. There's no one like your mom, especially when you miss her. Mrs. Bess was a sweet soft-spoken, classy lady and she will be missed. I'm sure she is loving on Jesus right now & heaven is throwing her a big "welcome home" party. Love you, my friend. ❤

Bess was a beautiful, caring, and loving person. She loved to sing, dance, and enjoy life. She was more than devoted to her son, Burt, for so many years. Bess brightened up every room she entered, not only with her signature lavender glasses and clothes, but also with her smile and love of life. While she will sorely missed by those who loved her, such a wonderful person surely took the express elevator to heaven.

I would always come tuck you in every night when I worked, and if I didn't you would always come poke your head out and sweetly say "darlin just want to kiss you goodnight". I'd tell you to go lay down that I was coming, and I always came no matter how late it may be. You called me an angel everytime and now I have an angel watching over me. Love n miss you and grateful to have met you and taken care of you. One of my favorite residents, a diva at heart! Love you Bess, goodnight my angel.
