Ceara Marie Regan died unexpectedly on January 8, 2019, from cardiac arrhythmia due to a congenital heart defect. She was 21 years old. Ceara is the much-loved daughter of James Gerard and Grace Regan and sister of Dominick and Audrey Regan. She is the granddaughter of Patrick and Ann Regan of Wichita, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Riley and Milly Fell of New Orleans, Louisiana and Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a student at Rowan University where she was preparing to graduate in musical theater performance. She was a graduate of Lassiter High School in Marietta, Georgia. Ceara loved music, books, travel, children and animals. Some of her favorite musicals included Next to Normal, Hamilton, Spring Awakening, Dear Evan Hansen, and Bonnie and Clyde. She recently authored a musical about Bonnie Parker and was a contributing editor to The Odyssey Online magazine. Ceara traveled to Europe multiple times, and her most recent trip was with her younger sister, Audrey. Ceara swam for three years on the Lassiter swim team and played competitive volleyball and studied ballet. Ceara is survived by a large and loving family of aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as many friends. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Lakeside Funeral Home in Woodstock, Georgia, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 14, 2019, at The Catholic Church of the Transfiguration, with a reception to follow in Bishop Hall. All are welcome.
