Dale Artigue Obituary
A much-adored husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Dale Artigue, 52, of Mandeville, Louisiana entered into eternal rest from his home on Saturday, January 5, 2019 with his loving wife, Laura Hotard Artigue, by his side. He was born on September 14, 1966 in Arnaudville, LA to the late Marius Artigue and Janice Marie Knott Artigue and resided in the area for 41 years until he and his family moved to Mandeville. There he was blessed to work alongside and be mentored by his best friend, Dennis A. Pasentine at Florida Marine Transporters. While continually proving to be a loyal friend and dedicated colleague to all his Florida Marine family, Dale attained the prestigious position of Chief Operating Officer and was honored with a namesake motor vessel, the M/V Dale Artigue, of which he was extremely proud. Still, his greatest pride and joy came from the beautiful family he and his soulmate, Laura, raised together. His legacy lives on in his four children, Brooke, Kristen, Carly, and Dale Artigue Jr. and sweet granddaughter, Emma Nance who will remember him as the most loving, giving father/grandfather any child could ever dream of having. Although Dale was preceded in death by both of his parents and father-in-law, Riley Hotard, he is survived by numerous loving family members which include: his brothers, Gervis (Andrea) Artigue and David (Lori) Artigue, his mother-in-law, Elsie Hotard, sister-in-law, Tina (Rocky) Porter, brother-in-law, Troy (Tricia) Hotard, 3 nieces, 5 nephews, a grandnephew, a grandniece, aunts, uncles, cousins, and an endless number of close treasured friends. At this time, the family extends an invitation to all relatives and friends to join them for the Memorial Service at Church of the King, 22205 Little Creek Rd., Mandeville, LA 70471 on Friday, January 11, 2019. Visitation with family will be held from 1 PM until the prompt service time, 3PM. Please share a Memory on the Tribute Wall at www.ejfieldingfh.com
