Frazer Lea Rice III entered into rest November 14, 2018, beloved husband of Beverly (nee Crump) Rice; loving brother of Donna and Nemours Rice; fond uncle of Zachary (Anna) Tuller; great-uncle of June. Frazer Rice was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an active member of his church in Western New York and served on the vestry. Frazer was a long-time resident of New Orleans and Bay St. Louis. He belonged to several British car clubs and enjoyed cruising around in his MGA. An avid music lover, he attended every New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, beginning with the first one in 1970. Frazer, wearing his pith helmet with the solar fan, was often recognized by fellow Jazz Fest regulars. In his younger years he marched with the Lyons Club on Mardi Gras, and never missed the MOMS Ball. Frazer was a kind and generous person, with a great sense of humor, and he will be missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends may visit Christ Episcopal Church, 912 S. Beach Boulevard, Bay St. Louis, MS, on Saturday (January 19th) from 12:30 PM-1 PM. Memorial Service will immediately follow. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Frazer's name to the Friends of the Animal Shelter in Hancock County, PO Box 2274, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520.
