Renard Joseph Matthews entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 25, 2018. Renard is a native of New Orleans, LA, and attended Mc Donogh 35 High School. He leaves to cherish precious memories his mother, Temeka Matthews; three sisters, Reion Carter, Miracle and Merlecedes Matthews. Grandmothers, Regina Matthews and Delores Carter. Seven uncles, four aunts and a host of cousins and friends. Renard was preceded in death by his father, Renard J. Carter Jr., stepfather, Merle H. Offray, great-grandmothers Florence Clark and Delores Richardson, and grandfather Renard J. Carter Sr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration of Life honoring Renard Joseph Matthews, will be held at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 9 AM. Interment Providence Memorial Park. Visitation 8 AM IN THE FAMILY CENTER.
