Sylvia Fay Polite passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the age of 75. Beloved mother of Troy Lynn Polite (Clyde). Grandmother of Brandi Nieche and Lloyd Polite Jr. Great grandmother of Andersyn Pheonix. Mother in law of Robin Lewis Polite. Sister of William (Lillie) Myles of Humble, Texas, Imogene Perkins of New Orleans and Vilma Robinson of Oakland, California and a host of other relatives and friends. Proceeded in death by mother- Fannie Oneida Crowley, father- William Myles and son -Lloyd Polite Sr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral services on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Greater Bright Morning Star Baptist Church, 2418 Louisiana Avenue, NOLA at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements by D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave. Please visit to sign guestbook.
