To the Smith Family,

I worked with John for two years while at Hall Piano. I recently moved back to Nashville and found out through a mutual friend that John was ill. He was a wonderful man; always had time to answer questions and had a terrific sense of humor. I remember, his shoes were ALWAYS shined; he was always laughing about something or had a funny story. The world will be a bit lonelier knowing he's not here; I am truly saddened at his passing. My prayers are with you all.

Smith Family , My Brother Sidney informed me of Johns Passing . To my regret , I haven't seen John for many years , but I have fond memories of playing gigs with him and riding the old Harley he sold me in the late sixties . It is indeed a sad day and our Prayers go out to the Smith Family . Ronnie and Iris Snow
