George you were taken from your family, your friends, and this world way too soon. Those of us that knew you, knew you were a warm and caring man even as a teenager. You made the world a better place to live. I for one am going to miss you and your love of rock n roll as will the rest of the class of '80. RIP GEORGE

George, ok buddy, no good byes here sunshine, only until we meet again! You have impacted so many peoples' lives in such positive ways. It has been such an honor to have been given the opportunity to meet you, to get to know you, and now, to say until next time :) In my profession, I am supposed to make a difference in the lives of my patients and their families...George, as always, you were an exception to that rule as well for you have made more of an impact on me than you will ever know. After I got to know you and your struggles and I saw how unGodly strong you truely were, many other things in life that I would allow to bother me seemed null and void: unimportant as I realized the battles that are significant...the ones you shrugged your shoulders at and told me, "I'm going to fight this, it's not going to control me, I'm going to control it. I got this, shoot!" AMAZING! So, to your family, I am sorry for your loss. You have my deepest sympathies and prayers for healing. To you, George, I'll catch ya on the other side buddy :) In the meantime, let's celebrate his life like he would want us to.

To George's family: Our deepest sympathy to you. We share lots of memories...Kevin and Kelly Cook lived as neighbors for several years....And when my daughter Kelly died tragically in a house fire 4 years ago, George immediately planned a fund raiser for her family. We appreciated his concern and affection at a time when we needed it the most. Ruthie Cook Meek
