Louis A. Grob, Jr
FREMONT: Louis A. Grob, Jr., 86, of Birdseye Blvd, Fremont passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Bethesda Care Center.
He was born on August 6, 1926 in Fremont, the son of Louis A. and Minnie (Leins) Grob, Sr.
Louis served in the U.S. Army with the 7th Infantry Division Pacific Campaign from 1944 to 1946 and was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Louis was an Electronic Technician for NASA Lewis Research Center, Cleveland, OH Plum Brook Station Sandusky, OH Nuclear Reactor Division, retiring in 1972. He was a Life member of VFW Post #2947 and a member of Moose Lodge #1286, Masonic Lodge #336, Shrine Club, all of Fremont, OH. He was also a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley -32nd degree and Shriners Zenobia Temple A.A.O.N.M.S both of Toledo, OH.
Louis is survived by his nephew, Jeffrey (Lori) Wollenslegel, Sr. and Jeffrey's son and granddaughter, Fremont, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jeanne Wollenslegel.
Visitation: Sunday from 2 - 6 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH. Service: Monday, February 25, 2013, at Noon at the funeral home. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont.

On behalf of the George Grob family of Fremont, our sincere condolences on the passing of our cousin Louis. Uncle Raymond, Aunt Florence Chamberlin, Aunt Mildred Coughlin and Aunt Dorothy Grob Young and all the remaining Grob family members in the Fremont, Toledo and Cleveland areas. He will be missed.
