Irene Marie (Stillwaugh) Price
FREMONT: Irene Marie (Stillwaugh) Price, 87 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12 2013, in Fremont, Ohio, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
She was born May 19, 1925 in Tieton, Washington to Homer and Katherine Stillwaugh. She was a graduate of Tieton High School. She married Doyt Price of Fremont, Ohio in 1945 and had three children. Irene and Doyt were members of Wycliffe Bible Translators and served in India and Papua New Guinea for over 30 years. They served for several more years at the Duncanville, Texas headquarters for Wycliffe.
Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Doyt.
Surviving are her children, Sharon (Dave) Wammes, Jeanne (John) Toth and Thomas (Ceinwen) Price. She has five grandchildren, Thomas, Nathan, Andrea, Gareth and Jason; and great grandchildren, Cassidy, Ava, Kailyn, Isabella and Syndle.
Irene was a member of Grace Community Church in Fremont, Ohio. Her favorite pastimes included cooking and baking, sewing, quilting, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
There will be no funeral service as Irene gifted her body to the Department of Neurosciences at the University Of Toledo College Of Medicine.
In lieu of flowers the family requests gifts be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators, P.O. Box 628200, Orlando, FL 32862-82.

I remember her very well from the old Grace Brethern Church that we grew up in ,she was an insperation to all that knew her.
