Jeffrey Slayton Obituary

Jeffrey Thomas Slayton, 49, passed away Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, at his home in Radcliff.
Jeff was born on Jan. 21, 1971, in Louisville. He attended LaRue County High School and Eliza­beth­town Community and Technical College. He was Bap­tist by faith. He enjoyed animals, nature and hunting.
He was a proud fan of sports and auto racing. He had an appreciation for learning new things and also enjoyed movies, music, singing and roller coasters. Jeff was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his pets, Barney and Sophie, and spending time with family.
He recently was preceded in death by his loving mother, Carolyn Slayton.
He will be lovingly remembered by his father, Arthur Thomas Slayton of Magnolia; his sister, Theresa Florek (Henry) of Elizabethtown; and his nieces, Tiffany Elberfeld (Matthew) of Cold Spring, Amy Schwab (Dylan) of Elizabethtown and Kaitlyn Florek of Richmond. He'll also be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
A private service will be held with immediate family.
Memorials may be made in Jeff's honor to Hardin County Animal Shelter.
