James Lucas Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Theresa Lucas; and a brother, Joe Lucas.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bonnie Lucas; a daughter, Crystal (Bruce) Lucas; a son, Travis (Chasity) Lucas; four grandchildren, Kyle (Ashley), Amber (Shelby), T.J. and Jalyn; four great-grandchildren, Conner, Macie, Ollie and Sawyer; four brothers, Ray (Kim) Lucas, Tony Lucas, Freddie (Patty) Lucas and Dane (Penny) Lucas; and three sisters, Brenda (Tom) Skees, Linda Skees and Laura (Cecil) Dennis.
Don often said, "I am truly blessed with a great family."
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at Open Valley United Missionary Baptist Church with Brothers Malcolm and Jeff Doyle officiating. Burial follows in Open Valley Cemetery.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continues at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
