Funeral services for Mr. George Fincher Cook, 84 of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012, at St. Mary's Basilica in Natchez, MS.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Natchez City Cemetery.
George Fincher Cook a retired Oil Exploration businessman passed away November 7, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, LA. Mr. Cook received his BBS degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He was a member of St. Paschals Catholic Church and was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Nobel Fincher Cook; brother, Thomas Cook, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years; Anne D. Cook; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Smith; brother-in-law, Vernon M. Duffey and sister-in-law, Freda Distefano; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
