Irvin R. Bryan
Funeral services for Irvin R. Bryan, 97 of Mer Rouge, LA, formerly of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 12, 2012, in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Gordon Dean and Rev. Larry Lanier will be officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. Bryan was born December 5, 1915 in Downsville, LA and passed away December 9, 2012 in Bastrop, LA. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed working well into his eighties and loved gardening.
Mr. Bryan was preceded in death by his wife Levie Mae of seventy six years.
Mr. Bryan is survived by his daughter, Bobbye Jones; son, Stanley Bryan and wife Delores; grandchildren; Ronny Jones and wife Maureen, Gregory Jones, Rusty Bryan and wife Khristina; 5 great-grandchildren, Emily Bryan, Nathaniel Bryan, Abigail Bryan, Trevor Jones and Chandler Jones; brother, Rev. Jesse and wife Beverly; sisters; Ruth Phillips and husband Donald, Mary Massart, Faye Lanier and husband Rev. Larry Lanier and Ola Mae and Jim Wallace.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Jones, Trevor Jones, Billy Bryan, Ronny Jones, Troy Hinton and Archie Lee Harrell.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 PM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
