Delaine,
I was saddened to hear of Mr. Hixon's passing. He was my favorite teacher at Neville. I particularly enjoyed his occasional lectures on the fallacies of reasoning and how to engage in critical thinking. But the most valuable lessons he taught were about men of character in history. Mr Hixon was down to earth and always had time to talk to any student. A truly inspiring, giving person. I'll really miss him.

Mr.Hixon was a wonderful teacher (World History for me in 1966) and a thoroughly interesting man who served his country, family, profession and God with grace and distinction. Condolences to his family.

Rick,
I'm so sorry about your Dad. I enjoyed his visits to Media Serv. He loved history as much as you do. Continue the legacy. Sarah Byargeon

Mr. Bennie was a find man and a great Principle at Mangham High School and at times he didn't mind using that BIG paddle he had in his office. I know. I respect him for that.

So sorry to hear of his passing. He was my seventh grad teacher, my band director, and my third cousin. Such a wonderful person in every aspect. I am so glad I got to visit with him one last time in Mangham in May at the Boughton family reunion in Mangham. Patricia McConnell Taylor, Dallas, TX
