Jay H. Fricker
Memorial Services Celebrating the Life of Jay H. Fricker, 55, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Jon Tellifero officiating.
Jay was born on May 3, 1962, in Birmingham, AL and passed away on July 17, 2017, in Baton Rouge, LA. In his younger days, he was a Professional Bull Rider. He competed in Triathlon's, and was an avid golfer. Jay served on the Board of Directors for the DeSiard Street Missions, was a previous co-owner of Port City Glass and the Honda Store in Ruston, LA. He was dedicated to sponsoring Missionaries in the work they did. Jay loved his family more than life itself. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Gerald and Delores Elizabeth Fricker.
Survivors include his wife, Terri McBeth Fricker; daughter, Kelsey Fricker-Davis; step-children, Chad Canal, Kristin Norris and husband, Will, and John-Cody Canal and wife, Allison; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jase and Kai Canal, Andi-Leigh Norris and baby girl Norris who will arrive soon, and Cohen Canal; brothers, Scott Fricker, Todd Fricker, and Chris Fricker; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 P.M. until Service Time on Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jay's memory to the DeSiard Street Mission at 807 DeSiard Street, Monroe, LA 71201.
