We met Joann 2 1/2 years ago at the Bayside Nursing Home. My husband and I became friends with Joann. Each time we visited our family member we visited with Joann as well. She always had a joke or funny story to tell us. We learned all about her family and her life. We were saddened by her passing. We will miss her.
Our condolences to the family.

Aunt Joann,
We will all miss you dearly! I can remember your laugh (especially the story about "turdy-turd" street.) My mama was so happy when you came home. I'm happy that you aren't hurting anymore and that you have gone to see your daddy, mama, little brother and sister again. Save some fish and bbq for me! I love and miss you! Leannie

In 1988, Ms. JoAnn worked tirelessly with me to help purchase my home in Algiers. I was about to give up, as being a single mother of two with very low income, she encouraged me to not give up, an that she would do everything she possibly could to help.
I truly thank God for allowing Ms. JoAnn to enter into my life at the perfect timing.
I offer my heartfelt condolences to the family.
