So sorry to hear of Pat's passing. Mad Dog was always there when there was "fun" going on around High School activities. Certainly a fond memory of the H.S. days. RIP

I was a year behind Mad Dog in high school and was always in awe of his physical talents/abilities. I played allot of golf with Ara Parseghian, Pat's coach at Notre Dame, and the first time I asked him if he remembered Pat he immediately and without hesitation stated-"one of the best athletes to ever play for me!" Pat leaves allot of memories with the people who knew him. Carl

Our condolences to the Schrage family. I played football with Pat at Osh West and I am pretty sure that his "Mad Dog" title came from those years of playing hard nose foot ball under coach Schumerth. Pat is one of the main reasons we were undefeated in our senior year and rated #1 in the state. Those memories will last forever.

Pat was my friend. No matter where he was or what he was doing he was larger then life. I can also attest that when people spoke of pat it seemed he was legend in his own time. I'll miss you "maddog".Tom Ambrose

Went to high school with Pat and very sad to hear of his passing. Even though he was a year ahead of us in school, he was one of my late husband's buddies and he would talk about some of the crazy things they did. They had football in common! RIP.
