Selle, Orville
Orville Selle, age 84, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Maplecrest Manor in Ripon.
Orville was born on November 26, 1928, in Neenah, the son of Arthur and Eleanor (Hahn) Selle. He graduated from New London High School and on October 18, 1952, Orville married Carol Kellerman. She preceded him in death. Then on June 2, 1990, he married Lorraine Haima. Orville was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon. He farmed all his life and won many awards.
He is survived by his three sons, Lee (Lynn) Selle of Larsen, WI, Melvin (Lois) Selle of Pulaski, WI and Marvin (Barb) Selle of Larsen, WI; his two daughters, Rhoda (Randy) Kelley of New London, WI and Rogene (Mike) Arendt of Appleton, WI. He is further survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Orville is preceded in death by his parents, his wives, Carol and Lorraine, a brother and sister-in-law.
Visitation for Orville will be held on Monday, December 31, 2012, from 10:30 - 12:00 pm at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 320 Mt. Zion Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Orville will be held on Monday, December 31, 2012, at 12:00 pm at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon. Pastor Dennis Meier will officiate. Interment will take place in Dale Union Cemetery in Dale, WI in the spring. A memorial is being established.
