Oshkosh - Courtney Ann Elizabeth Stark, age 43, of Oshkosh, was embraced by God's loving arms the morning of Thursday, August 9, 2018. She put up a valiant fight with strength and dignity against a rare disease with loving son Brian, husband Mike, mother Terri, father Jim, and her dear Aunt Wendy by her side.

A graduate of Oshkosh West High School, Courtney was employed by the Fairfield Inn, Oshkosh; a job she truly enjoyed.

Courtney will never be forgotten and is survived by her husband, Mike Stark; son, Brian Stark; mother, Terri Foss; father, Jim Pommerening; half brothers, Bernie Foss, Charles Foss; half sister, Samantha Foss; and special aunt, Wendy Ann Elizabeth Baier. Courtney's family would like to thank the ICU staff and loving angels/nurses who cared for her during her two month stay at St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee. Their kindness will always be remembered. They would also like to thank the staff of Bethel Home for seeing her through her final days. A special "thank you" to Katy, from Aurora At Home Hospice, who helped us through her final hours.
