Thoughts and prayers to you and your family Judy. I did not meet Daniel but my son spent a lot of time at the skate park and Nordic as did I in his younger days, so we crossed passed many of times. The memorial that was created for him shows how much he meant to his skate family, he will be missed greatly.

While I never knew Daniel or his family, I fondly
remember him as "the Festival guy". I would see
him on many of my trips to Festival and he always
seemed like such a helpful, sweet, kind, person.

My sympathy to his Mom and his family, on your
terrible loss.

My prayers go out to Daniel's parents and his family. Although I never met him, my son knew him through snowboarding and skating. He will be missed as is evidenced by the little 'street' memorial made for him. Peace and love..

We are so very, very sorry to hear of the loss of Daniel. Although we did not know him personally, we heard a lot about him from Paige's grandma. Our hearts go out to your family at this very tragic happening. May God's loving, healing hand help carry through all the days of your life.

Judy-
We are sorry for your loss. Daniel always had a smile on his face even during Scout softball. He loved life. Most of all he loved you and that was evident to all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Daniel's family and friends, especially his mom, Judy. Daniel and my son, Jake Spanbauer were very good friends. Jake could always count on Daniel to come to the lake with him, and he did again just this past 4th of July. As a family, we have many fun and interesting memories of Daniel. He always made me and our family laugh and smile; his beautiful smile was contagious. My words are inadequate but as a mother, I just wanted to let Judy know how sorry I am for her loss.

Judy,
Our hearts go out to you. Daniel will always have a special place in our hearts, as no one could forget him. We will always remember the adorable little blonde that would wander over to our house and visit.
May God's love help you through this extremely difficult time.

I worked with Daniel at Festival Foods. Although I did not have the chance to get to know him that well, he always shared a warm smile with me. Anytime we would meet in passing or when I would ask him to help pick up produce at our Service Desk, he would kindly ask in his sweet, soft voice, "How are you today?" with his toothy grin. He always seemed to genuinely care about the people around him. :) I was devastated to hear the news, and my heart goes out to his family. My sympathies are with you during this time of grieving. May Daniel rest in peace.

Daniel and my son, Jake, had many memories together spending sleepovers when they were younger. They could often be seen together at the skatepark and at Nordic. I will never forget his smile. Sometimes I'd look at them and they looked like brothers.

I send to you, Judy, my deepest sympathies. I have no true words of comfort for you other than my thoughts and prayers are with you as you and your family go through this most difficult time.

My deepest condolences to all who are mourning - most especially Daniel's mom. As the mom of one of Daniel's friends, my heart is breaking for you. He only crossed my path a few times but those times were memorable. He sparkled.

May you be comforted by sweet memories in this difficult time, and always know that you are not alone. You are surrounded by a community that cares.

peace.
