William "Bill" Tarr Obituary
William "Bill" Tarr

Berlin - William Allen Tarr, "Bill" age 75, of Berlin, passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly on November 5, 2018.

He was born on January 16, 1943 in Waupaca, the son of Freeman and Jean (Testin) Tarr.

Bill was a 1961 graduate of Wild Rose High School, after which, he joined the United States Marine Corps, serving in active duty from 1961 - 1964. Proudly, he was the first of 3 generations of Marines followed by son, David, and grandson, Tyler.

He married Elaine (Hansen) in 1965. He and Elaine owned and operated a family farm, and he also spent many years driving a semi truck.

Bill was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and thoroughly enjoyed his time in the woods hunting and fishing. He was a proud member and avid supporter of the NRA. Bill was a fan of country music and enjoyed growing a garden every summer.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine and 4 children; sons David (Laura), Randy (Cathy), Ronald (Jane); daughter, Debra (Daniel) Dantoin; sister, Nancy Tower; sister-in-law, Laura Tarr; many nieces and nephews; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his special K-9 companion, Bella.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; brother, Robert Tarr, and brother-in-law, David Tower.

Family and friends my visit with the family on Saturday November 10, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of Berlin.
