Carl Boots Obituary

BOOTS, CARL V.; age 66; of Lapeer; died Saturday, September 14, 2013. Carl was born March 16, 1947. Mr. Boots proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He returned home to become a Registered Nurse, with GM Truck and Bus. He was active in the UAW Local 1810, actually serving as chairman for the nurses. Mr. Boots is survived by his sons, Brian Boots, Sr. of Lapeer, Bruce Boots of Portsmouth, VA; grandchildren, Logan, Brain Jr. and Alexandria; siblings, Virgil (Carolyn) Boots of Leonard, Robert (Sharon) Boots of Alger, Shirley (Jack) Helder of Zeeland, Donald Boots of North Branch and twin brother, Carel (Joy) Boots of Lapeer. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer, (810)664-8111

Burial will be in Attica Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
