Gordon B. Dean

DEAN, GORDON B.; age 82; of Clarkston; passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital of Pontiac on January 24, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley; his children Patricia Warren (Blair), Barbara Nutter (Stewart), and Larry Dean (Janell); he was a devoted grandfather to Christie (Ryan), Mary (Bill), Ben, Adam, Rachel (Nate), Brian (Brianna); he was a loving papa to Cecilia, Reese, and Menzie. Gordon was a graduate of Lake Orion High School class of 1950. He worked for National Twist Drill in Rochester for 33 years and Wilson-Garner for 11 years. He proudly served with the Marines for 4 years during the Korean War. He passed his love of gardening and the American Flag on to his family. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. In keeping with Gordon's wishes there will not be a funeral service. Cremation has taken place, and internment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI with a Private Memorial Service.
