I find it hard to express myself of what Eileen meant in my life. We were friends of 74 years old. Eileen and I lived next door to each other on Grosse Ile. We spent so many fun hours doing all the things that kids do. We build snow forts in the winter to snowball the boys as they went by. Usually the fort was at my house as it faced the main road. We took our wagons into the woods to pick flowers and play and try to get away from Maggie and George. We spent may summers at the cottage doing our thing. I will miss her so much as she was my oldest friend in years of knowing each other.
I send my sincere sympathy to the Clouse family.

Clouses, your mom was so festive, awesome, full of life. So sad you have to lose this bright and abiding spirit. She was darling and raised a wonderful family-especially Seany. What a successful life!

Eileen has been our friend, neighbor, mentor and so much more for the past 20 years. Every Canadian Geese, every egret (George and Mary), every full moon (Moon alert), every part of our lives has been and will be shared with Eileen. We love her so. Sitting at the waters edge on Sand Pointe talking, solving the problems of out lives and the worlds will long be remembered.John and Sue Ouellette(Fraser,MI)

Loved seeing Eileen and 'Tang' summers at the cottage. And also our annual Christmas card exchange. She was a bright shining star who made everyone happy. We will miss her so much. Much love, Steve and Kris Spicer
