Judy Lamm Obituary

Judy May Leicht Lamm Judy Lamm, 62 years young, of Olympia went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2012. Known for her red hair, Judy grew up on a farm in South Bay and graduated from North Thurston High School. She married the love of her life, Paul Lamm and they enjoyed many years living in their home on Long Lake. Judy was retired from state service for over ten years. Her favorite job was working as the Executive Assistant at the Washington Health Care Authority. She is survived by her husband of more than 41 years, Paul, dog Rosie, her niece she loved like a sister, JoAnn Fast (Rev. Darcy), brother Roy Leicht (Marj), mother-in-law Merle Lamm, Marlene Leicht, Kurt and Janel Lamm, Ruth and Virg Nantt, Nadine and Larry Tyler and her numerous "precious" nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Olympia-Lacey Church of God on the corner of Lacey Blvd and Ruddell Road on August 2, 2012 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Please make donations to your favorite charity.

My connection with Judy is that we met in the Cancer Center and that my daughter lives on the farm where she grew up and loved so much. I feel a sense of loss but very blessed by the short shared friendship.

I am so sad to hear of Judy's passing. She was my go-to person at the HCA. Always proficient, always happy, sometimes mad (well she was a redhead after all). To me she was Judy May and to her I was Sharon Sue. She will certainly have a special place in Heaven. Rest in peace my dear sweet Judy.

I was greatly saddened to hear of Judy's passing. I worked with her at Ecology, Office of Air Programs for several years. She was always fun and professional and never down. She had a quick wit about her and was a joy to be around. She will be missed.

Paul and Rosie, I can't even begin to tell you how we loved Judy..such a fun lady, full of class and then
some sass which made her all the more fun to be around.
