GRACE DAVIDSON (Fallis) It is with sadness that Grace's family announce her passing on February 25, 2021 in the Outlook Long Term Care Centre. Mom was born in Cupar Saskatchewan on July 21, 1922 along with her twin brother Allan, siblings to older brother Ivan. Mom talked often of how special it was to be a twin. Following high school mom took her nursing training at Grey Nuns Hospital in Regina. She had many stories of living in residence and formed many life long friendships from those years. She was very proud to be a nurse. She didn't have a long nursing career but she lived her life caring for those around her. Mom met the love of her life Bill Davidson when she moved to Dinsmore to nurse at the Dinsmore Union Hospital. They were married on September 18, 1947. Mom and Dad owned and operated Hotel Dinsmore for many years. They were busy years where many friendships were made with customers and staff. Mom was a member of the UCW, taught Sunday School, belonged to the K-40, Legion Auxiliary, Eastern Star and was involved in many community activities. Mom loved to cook, bake and entertain and their home was the centre of many gatherings; she loved to spend time with her grandchildren; she loved to have coffee with friends; she loved to read and had a keen interest in news and politics. Mom lived her life with faith and gratitude. In 2009 Mom and Dad moved to Outlook to be closer to Debbie and made their home at the High Rise. Dad passed away in 2010. Mom would develop wonderful friendships and she enjoyed her years there. She spent her last two years living in the Outlook Long Term Care Centre. Many thanks to the staff who helped to make those years easier for her. You will always be appreciated for your loving care. Mom is survived by her children Don (Sherry) Davidson, Debbie (Les) Redden, and Jack Davidson (Deb); daughters in law Gayle Davidson and Barb O'Brien; special friend Jeff Lawrence; grand- children Scott, Brenna, TJ, Jordan (Brae), Jason (Breanna), Mark (Ashton), Brett (Chelsey), Trevor (McKenzie), Wayne (Kristina), Annie, and Stan (Courtney); great-grandchildren Madison, Ethan, Madison, Amelia and Henry and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a very special Mom, Grandma, Auntie Grace and Friend. Mom was predeceased by her husband Bill, son Tom, brothers Ivan (Helen) Fallis and Allan (Jean) Fallis parents Walter and Mary Fallis, sister in law Beth (Ken) McMillan, brother in law Bruce Davidson and Bill's parents Tom and Hilda Davidson. Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. In mom's words as she told us often: "I've had the best life." Because of Covid a celebration will be held when we are able to be together. Arrangements were in care of Outlook Funeral Chapel. __________________________________________________
