SKINNER, Juanita Lillian 1919 - 2021 The passing of Juanita Skinner (nee Fredeen), formerly of Beechy, Sask., occurred on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Dinsmore Health Care Centre, at the age of 101 years. Juanita enjoyed her work as a CNA. After graduating she was employed at Beechy hospital. At one point the hospital was closed and she worked at Kyle. However, she returned to Beechy when the hospital reopened. She was never idle. While "resting" she was crocheting, knitting, embroidering or making quilts. She also did much baking and cooking in general. Since she enjoyed having company she always served coffee or tea with her homemade cookies, etc. Each year she had a productive garden plus beautiful flowers. Juanita is survived by her sister, Ruth Covey of Beechy, Sask.; sister-in-law, Velva Swatzky of Saskatoon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles (Mr. Fix-it) in 1990; and by her siblings: Edgar (Alice) Fredeen, Ferne (Horace) West, Frances (John) Swelander, Loren (Betty) Fredeen, Bertha (Hjalmer) Odegard, Leslie (Marjorie) Fredeen, Lester (Helen) Fredeen and Frank (Jeanne) Fredeen. Due to Covid restrictions, a service of remembrance will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to: The Beechy/Demaine Ambulance Fund. Arrangements are in care of the Outlook Funeral Chapel 306-867-8255. __________________________________________________
