MICK, Glen Arthur July 9, 1930 - December 18, 2020 Glen was the beloved husband of Reta Mick (Ptolemy) for 67 years. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Dinsmore, Sask at the age of 90. Glen and Reta moved from the farm into Dinsmore, Sask in 1999. He never really retired, driving to the farm most days. Checking how the crops were doing, going to the pasture with the grandsons and busy in the shop. When he finally got used to town life, he loved going to coffee row to banter every morning. He rarely missed hockey, curling or ball games, especially when the grandkids and neighbours kids were playing. Glen was an avid supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion. Covid was really hard on him, not being able to go and do the things he loved. Those who knew him, know that he had such a Zest for life. Such passion for his family, friends and community. There is no doubt his presence will be missed by many. Glen is lovingly remembered by his wife, Reta; his family: Cheryl (Terry) James and their family, Trevor (Megan), Justin (Krista) (Rowen & Aubrey), Clayton (Sarah) (Kian & Hallie), and oldest great grandchild, Troy Banks; Arlene (David) Jamieson and their family, Blake (Danielle) (Linley & Hannah), Ian & Kali; Orla (Kevin) Willoughby and their family, Evan (Alexis) (Clark & Harriet), Jeff, & Bruce (Alyssa) (Arwyne); and Neil Mick and his family, Melissa (Andrew) (Julia & George), Pamela (Chris) (Reed & Jake), & Glenna (Kevin); sisters-in-law, Bella Burnett and Shirley (Neil) Taylor and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur & Muriel; daughter, Kathryn Glennis; two brothers-in-law, Gordon Clark & Ernie Burnett; and by one sister-in-law, Bea Clarke. A family service was held at Dinsmore United Church Dec 22, 2020 and burial at Holt Cometary. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dinsmore AGT Memorial Arena. A Life well Lived! Arrangements were in care of the Outlook Funeral Chapel 306-867-8255. __________________________________________________
