LEPPA, Walter Leroy October 28, 1942 – January 1, 2021 Walter Leppa, beloved husband of Wendy Yurkiw-Leppa of Langham, SK, passed away at the Royal University Hospital on January 1, 2021 at the age of 78 years. "Walt" was born and raised on family farm in Macrorie, SK. He graduated from LCBI, in Outlook to go onto colorful careers in finance, proprietorship and sales. He had a rapport with people, a Je nes ais quoi, a laughter, sense of humor, and an honesty about him. It was easy to love him! 'A man of many words and stories' Walt shared them with his friends & family on long telephone conversations and visits. Walt had a passion for camping, golfing, animals, playing cards and a funny passion for golf carts. Walt's heart was always in farming and will forever be, but his greatest passion was his family and friends. He was the loving father of Aaron Leppa of Langham, SK, Dayton Leppa of Saskatoon, SK, Cory (Sherry) Leppa of Innisfail, AB, Randi (Blaine) Millward of Drayton Valley, AB, and Terry (Mike) Stushnoff of Outlook, SK. Walt will be dearly missed by his six grandchildren Dakota, Tanika, Brooke, Cole, Elizabeth, and Victoria; and great-granddaughter, Devyn. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Harvey, Stanley (Sally), Mike; his sister Eileen, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and cherished friends. Walt was predeceased by his parents Martti and Lillian Leppa; sister-in-law Vera Yurkiw; sister Phyllis Fyckes; and sister-in-law Anne Leppa. Please prepare your videos, photos, stories and memories for a Celebration of Walt's Life to be held in June, 2021.
