In Loving Memory of Dorothy Dambremont (nee Moffatt), 96 years, who passed away at the West Nipissing General Hospital in Sturgeon Falls on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 with her loving family at her side. Beloved mother of Yvonne Pepin (Alcide predeceased), Roger Brady (Carol), Larry Brady (predeceased) (Madeline), Dorothy-Ann Meilleur (Marc), Mary Hennekam (John) and Michael Brady (Gabrielle). Cherished Gram to 18 grandchildren, Nanny to many great grandchildren and she was a proud great great great Grandmother. Dear daughter of Dentzil and Helen Moffatt (both predeceased). Treasured sister of Al Moffatt (predeceased) and loving sister of Leona Hartling (Ernie predeceased). Her feline companion Socks will miss her tremendously. Will be sadly missed by many friends and relatives. Dorothy was the president of the Lioness Club for many years and a loyal member of the Red Hat Society. She was a very competitive card player and will be remembered fondly for her baking and cooking. She was an avid knitter and a fantastic seamstress. She really was a jill-of-all trades. She was always willing to lend a hand and loved supporting churches with their many bazaars. Above all else, Dorothy will be remembered by her family and friends as being compassionate, quick-witted and unapologetically herself. She has undoubtedly left those who have had the pleasure of knowing her with a lot to be thankful for and she will be dearly missed. Resting at Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street.
