Beloved husband of Janet for 49 years. Philip was a loving father to Stephen (Kim) and Karen (Raul), and grandfather to Victoria, Elizabeth, Connor and Bradley. Born to the late Sidney and Gertrude Chadwick in Leigh, Lancashire, England, Philip attended Leigh Grammar School, Manchester University and later Salford University where he earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering.
